II. Bids received in excess of ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.
III. Prospective bidders should have experience in undertaking similar projects within the last ten (10) years with
at least 50% of the proposed project for bidding. The bidding will be conducted through open competitive
bidding procedures using non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the IRR of RA 9184. The BAC
will conduct post-qualification of the Lowest Calculated Responsive Bid.
IV. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Bids and Awards Committee and inspects bidding
documents during office hours. A complete set of bidding documents maybe purchase from the address below
and upon payment of non-refundable fee for the Bidding
V. Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before September 2, 2014 10:00 o’clock in the morning at the
Municipal Hall of Laurel, Batangas (Office of the BAC Chairman/MPDC). All bids must be accompanied by
a bid security in any of the acceptable forms in the amount specified in the IRR. Bids must be opened in the
presence of the bidder or their representatives who choose to attend at the address below. Late bids shall
not be accepted.
VI. The Municipality of Laurel, Batangas reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process,
and to reject any bid at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected
bidder of bidders.
